DAILY BREAD

THE WORD

The message of the cross is the message of salvation. Through Jesus Christ, God has loved us, redeemed us, and opened the door to eternal life.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Romans 10:9

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Salvation Through Christ

Easter proclaims the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for us and rose again in victory. Whoever believes in Him does not perish, but receives everlasting life. The empty tomb declares that sin has been conquered, death has lost its sting, and salvation is available to all who call upon the Name of the Lord.

Today, may your heart rest in the certainty of God’s love. May you know that through Christ there is cleansing, forgiveness, righteousness, and a brand-new beginning.

Prayer of Salvation

I have heard Your Word according to Romans 10:9, and I thank You for Your grace and mercy toward me. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. I believe that He died for me and rose again, all for my justification. Lord Jesus, cleanse me from all sin and all unrighteousness.

I accept Your Lordship over my life. I receive You as Savior and King of my life. Thank You for the sure promise of eternal life forever with You in glory. I receive Your gift of righteousness, and by the power and in the Name of Jesus I, too, reign in life.

The power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is hereby broken off my life. Now I am born again. I am a child of God. I am a joint heir with Jesus Christ. I walk in victory. I go forward with You ever and backward never.

In Jesus’ matchless and most powerful Name, Amen.
